FAQ - Draw entries

Riders wishing to take part in the XTREM/ HALF format must first register for a draw (free of charge). Entries for the draw will be accepted from October 23 at 12:00 until November 13 at 23:59.

The results of the draw will then be emailed to registrants on November 20. The selected runners will then have to finalize their registration and the payment of their race number before November 27, 23:59.

Why draw lots?

With the growing popularity of the AlpsMan, places are increasingly sought after, and the "first come, first served" system was no longer fair. The draw gives an equal chance to all enthusiasts who want to take part in the AlpsMan 2025 adventure!

When can I register for the Xtrem and Half Triathlon?

Registration opens on Wednesday, October 23 at 12:00 pm. The opening of registration will be announced via our newsletter, on our website and on social networks.

Can I enter several draws for different events?

Both draws (Xtrem and Half) can be entered.

You can only be drawn for one event.

Can I register more than once with different email addresses or names?

It is forbidden to register more than once using different email addresses or different names. A check will be made before the draw and anyone found cheating on this point will be excluded from the draw.

Once you've been selected, how does the registration process work?

If you are selected at random, you will receive an email on November 20 containing a personalized link to access your runner's area and complete your registration. You will have until November 27 to finalize your registration and payment.

If you do not complete your registration, your number will be allocated to another participant in the draw.

Will people who were not selected by lottery be informed?
Those not selected at random will receive an e-mail informing them that they are on the waiting list and still have a chance.
It's essential that you enter your e-mail address correctly and check that there are no errors.
What happens if a person selected at random does not complete his or her registration within the allotted time?

Those selected at random will have until November 27 to complete their registration. After this deadline, the bib will be allocated to another participant in the draw.

From November 28, people on the waiting list will be recontacted according to the number of places available. They will then have 72 hours to complete and pay for their registration.

Can I transfer or sell my race number to another person after the draw?

No bib may be given or sold to anyone other than the person selected in the draw.

When should I upload my medical certificate or license?

The medical certificate or license must be provided up to 1 month before the start of the event.

Is there an advantage for regular participants or, on the contrary, for those taking part for the first time?

Event participation history is not taken into account in the draw.

Will the VIP pack be available this year?

The VIP pack will be available again this year (details to follow).

What happens if I choose the VIP pack in the draw?

During the draw, you will have the choice to indicate if you wish to subscribe to the VIP pack. By indicating YES to this question, you agree to subscribe to this option if you are selected at random. You will not be able to take part in the AlpsMan without this option.

What are the conditions for joining a club?

Club registrations are for members of a sports organization.

Your registration must include a minimum of 8 participants.

To register, the club referent must complete the following form before November 6 at 11:59 pm: club registration form

The same club can have participants in Xtrem, Half or Xperience.

Is there a reduced rate for club registrations?

There are no reduced rates for club registrations.

Is the probability of the draw the same for individual and club riders?

The probability of being drawn is the same for all riders, whether they are registered individually or as a club.
