How to get to the alpsman

BY CAR

  • Marseille, Lyon or Chambéry : A41 exit ANNECY CENTRE n°16.
  • Paris, Geneva or Bourg-en-Bresse : A41 Liane, exit ANNECY NORD n°17.
  • Chamonix or Italy (via the Mont Blanc tunnel): A41 Liane, exit ANNECY NORD n°17.

From Annecy, take the direction of Albertville then continue for about 9 km.

BY TRAIN

  • TGV links: Paris-Annecy line (direct train)
  • TER links: many Regional Express Trains connect Annecy to Lyon, Valence, Grenoble, Chambéry and Chamonix
  • Annecy SNCF station: information and reservations at 36 35.

Numerous services are available upon arrival at the station:

  • Urban transport between the different communes of the Annecy Agglomeration
  • Bus links to the towns on the shores of Lake Annecy and the Aravis mountains
  • Transportation by taxi

BY PLANE

  • Geneva international airport is 50 km away. Connections to Annecy and Saint-Jorioz exist by train and by bus.
  • Lyon Saint-Exupéry international airport is 125 km away. Connections to Annecy and Saint-Jorioz exist by train and by bus.

INFORMATION ON PARTICIPATING PARKING LOTS ON SATURDAY JUNE 7 :

Friday June 6: 12:30 pm to 9:00 pm

Saturday June 7: 03:00 to 08:00 - 18:00 to 00:30

ATTENTION! On Saturday it will not be possible to leave the parking lot before 6pm (at the end of the bike race)!

Other parking lots are available without time restrictions:

RIDER DROP-OFF ON SATURDAY :

To facilitate access to the parking lots and start site, if you have a companion dropping you off on Saturday morning, please head for the esplanade parking lot and walk over the bridge to the bike park and UCPA locker area (5-minute walk from the parking lot).

FRIDAY JUNE 6

  • 01:00 pm - 06:00 pm: Opening of the partners' village and withdrawal of race numbers at the lake esplanade in Saint-Jorioz.
  • 16h00 - 18h00 : Opening of the transition park (beach of St Jorioz) - Mandatory drop off of bikes before 6:00 pm.
  • 1:00 pm - 6:00 pm: Drop off of personal bags CAP/RUN/UCPA, VELO/BIKE, and SEMNOZ ARRIVAL at UCPA
  • 06:30 pm : General briefing of the event
  • 07:00 pm - 08:30 pm: Dinner at the AlpsMan village

SATURDAY JUNE 7

  • 03:30- 4:15: Opening of the Bike Park - Transition: no bike drop-off in the morning. Access for verification only.
  • 03:30 - 4:00 am : Deposit of the CAP/RUN/UCPA cash box and the personal bags BIKE/VEHICLE and ARRIVAL SEMNOZ at the UCPA
  • From 4:00 am: Participants board the boats
  • 05h10 : Arrival of the boats on the starting line and launching of the participants
  • 05:30 am : Start of the Xtrem Triathlo
  • 4:30 pm : Estimation : arrival of the 1st Top Finisher at the Semnoz summit
  • 05:30 pm : Closing of "the Tournant"
  • 7:00 pm - 12:30 am: Opening of the transition zone to get your stuff
  • 10:45 pm : Closing of the LAKE loop

  • 09:50: Estimated arrival of the first swimming competitor
  • 9:00 am - 2:00 pm: Opening of the partners' village.

How to get around Semnoz

ATTENTION:

This year, no shuttle service will be available for fans wishing to reach the summit of the Semnoz. They will have to organize their own travel.

Participants and accompanying persons (wearing a number) will still benefit from the shuttle service back down from the Semnoz.

How can I encourage my friends and family on the course?

Organization shuttles will be available to and from the Lescheraines bike feed station on Saturday June 8. These shuttles are free of charge and subject to availability. Times to be announced.
