The AlpsMan: a playground to be preserved
To take part in the AlpsMan is to immerse yourself in breathtaking panoramas in the heart of the Parc Naturel Régional du Massif des Bauges. The routes cross stretches as beautiful as they are fragile, in an unspoilt natural setting that offers an unforgettable experience.
Every year, the AlpsMan attracts more and more athletes and spectators, while placing the preservation of the ecosystem at the heart of its project.
During the races, the athletes blend into an environment where every element counts. Eco-responsibility transcends the individual aspect of sport to become a shared, global vision.
It is in this spirit that we are resolutely involved through concrete initiatives. We are deeply convinced of the importance of collective awareness and community involvement in protecting these precious lands.
To preserve its playground, the Alpsman has joined forces with the Parc naturel régional du Massif des Bauges and the Water Family association.
1️⃣ This year, in collaboration with the PNR du Massif des Bauges, the "Parc-Cour-vert" project is a notable new feature of the event. Its aim is to green the schoolyards of the park's localities by getting participants involved. Each time they register, runners can choose between receiving a welcome gift or contributing the same amount to the project, thus making a positive and symbolic impact for nature and young people.
2️⃣ + 200 "baby trees ": The winners of the 4 races over the weekend will each receive a young tree from the Water Family association. They will have the choice of keeping it at home or entrusting it to the organizer, who will plant it in the commune of Saint-Jorioz. This initiative will enable "La forêt AlpsMan" to grow with each edition.
3️⃣Le Parc naturel régional du Massif des Bauges and Water Family will be present at the AlpsMan village on June 8 and 9, offering activities and challenges for young and old alike.
