AlpsMan Half : from the shore of the lake to the roof of Annecy!

New in 2020! AlpsMan Half will give you the chance to compete on the track of the legendary AlpsMan Xtem Triathlon! You were a lot to ask for this format, it is now available. True to its spirit, the Half format won’t break with the AlpsMan reputation: you will tackle a challenging route that will bring you from Annecy lake to the top of the Semnoz. A true mountain triathlon, in a stunning scenery, where your race management will be essential if you want to cross the finish line.

SWIM : 1,9 km
8:30 am – In the early hours of the morning, starting from the beach of Saint-Jorioz, you will dive into Annecy lake clear water for two 950-meter-long loops with an Australian exit in between. The good atmosphere on the shore of the lake will give you the strength to go further on the tough route of the race.
BIKE : 100 km
At the exit of the bike park, you will start a 100 km route in Bauges Natural Regional Park. You will have to climb 3 passes: Leschaux pass, Plainplais pass and Près pass for a total of 2400 meters of ascent. This bike journey promises stunning views on the Bauges and Chartreuse mountains, on the Chambéry area and the outstanding Lake Annecy. Be ready as you will mostly bike on the legendary route of the AlpsMan Xtrem Triathlon.
RUN : 16 km
If you have registered to the AlpsMan Half, it’s probably because you want to experience a tiny part of the Xtrem competition. Part of this experience is to climb to the top of the Semnoz to cross the finish line at 1 699 meters above sea level. The run part is straightforward: a steep climb of 16 km and 1300 meters of positive ascent. You will have to draw on your resources to make it to the finish line. The 360° panorama on top, with the Mont Blanc in the background, will make your achievement even more remarkable.
